Where should I place my offerwall for maximum revenue?

The highest-performing placement is inside your in-game store or shop menu, where users are already in a spending mindset. Label it as 'Earn Free Coins' or 'Get More Rewards' right next to IAP options. Secondary placements include a dedicated tab in the main navigation bar and contextual prompts after level completions when users run out of currency.

How many offerwall placements should I have in my app?

Start with one primary placement in the store menu, then add a secondary entry point in the main navigation. Avoid showing the offerwall in more than 3 locations — too many placements dilute the experience and can hurt retention. The key is visibility without being intrusive. Test each placement's impact on ARPDAU and retention over 2-week intervals.

Does offerwall placement affect user retention?

Yes, placement significantly affects retention. Offerwalls that interrupt gameplay (interstitial-style) tend to hurt retention, while user-initiated placements in natural pause points (store, settings, post-level) maintain or even improve retention. The golden rule: the offerwall should be easy to find but never forced on the user.

What is the worst place to put an offerwall?

Burying the offerwall in a settings submenu or behind multiple taps is the most common mistake. If users can't find it within 2 taps from the main screen, engagement drops by 80% or more. Other poor placements include pop-ups during active gameplay and placements that compete with rewarded video ad buttons.

How do I measure if my offerwall placement is working?

Track three metrics: offerwall open rate (what percentage of DAU open the offerwall), offer completion rate (what percentage of openers complete at least one offer), and ARPDAU contribution from the offerwall. A well-placed offerwall typically sees 15-30% of DAU opening it, with 5-15% completing offers. Compare these metrics across different placements using A/B testing.
