Why does my app have thousands of users but low revenue?

Usually one of three things: you only monetize the buying minority (IAP-only), your ad placements are too few or too passive, or your users are in low-value geos with thin inventory. The remedy is layering rewarded monetization and optimizing placements, not pushing more interstitial ads.

What metrics should I check first?

Start with ARPDAU, then split it by geo to see where the value sits. Then check session length and retention: if users play 10+ minutes but never convert, the monetization layer is missing, not the audience. High retention plus low ARPDAU is the clearest sign of a monetization gap.

How quickly can ARPDAU improve?

With a well-placed offerwall plus rewarded ads layer, many apps see ARPDAU move within 1-2 weeks. The caveat is validation: gains only count once rewards are actually credited and fraud is filtered server-side.
